Trying to get away from soldering so much to the back of the pots.

I thought that it wired everything to the output lug or something like that?? Is it called a star ground?

Hey Y'all, wanting to rewire my Jazz bass. And can't seem to find the thread that talked about a 'common ground'. I believe I have the term correct? Instead of wiring the grounds to the back of the pots....you wire everything to one point. Can anyone point me in the direction of that...

Clones. Almost every pedal on the market is a clone of another pedal. Don't let that bother you. If you buy your Behringer pedals at a store that has a return policy....and you don't like them....just return them for your money back. No harm, no foul.

I completely agree with this statement. I recently picked up two SX basses...both needed setup and some better strings, immediately. Once you have completed those two items.....save your money for new pots(the dials for volume and tone) and a better output jack. The pickups will do fine...

I have always used the phone for price matching. It's easier to haggle the price down that way. Hopefully, that will work for you next time. I have found that J&R out of NY will also haggle the price down for you...and often ships for free.

The effects loop on the Groove Regulator should not be overlooked. I don't know specificly if the MXR has one or not. The GR can really change it's sound when adding other pedals into the effects loop, which, really makes it versitile.

Who did you use to try and match the price? I had good luck with Wood Wind and Brass Wind site. It took the guy a few minutes to get approval...and then they knocked off 2 bucks.
