    Your favourite delay

    I assembled my own delay pedal from a DeProfundis pcb from Grindcustoms effects and a tap tempo board from JMKpcb. Great little delay that works well on guitar or bass.

    Spent many, many years and thousands of dollars playing guitar and buying gear chasing tone, converted to bass 6 months the ago and haven't looked back. I just seem to get a lot more enjoyment playing bass than I ever did playing guitar, and I seem to like the sound I'm getting already so...

    Has playing bass helped you also become a better guitarist?

    I had the opposite, started out on guitar and switched to bass 6 months ago. Fretboard theory and the little bits of harmony and chord construction I learned on guitar definitely helped the transition to bass, it's just the hand mechanics I'm having to learn again for bass.

    Ive been plaing guitar since i was 8 (35 now) and wanted to play bass since I heard Tommy the Cat by Primus for the first time and then Rob Trujillo when he was in Suicidal Tendencies, didn't make the switch to bass until 6 months ago for various reasons but haven't regretted the decision.
