me too I have one extra special bass and that's all I need. I admit though...if money and the state of the economy wasn't holding me back, I would have bought another one.

+1 I like my chromes a lot. I may never go back to rounds again, My bass is active though I get a really great/different p-ish tone when soloing the neck pickup. I use a slightly larger gauge than the above poster. I think its 50-104 not too sure. Affordable and good quality...can't beat that.

you could call them Bric (Brick) pickups & preamps as they are one of the essential materials to building a wal (wall)

I like this clip way better! He doesn't do a very thorough job but you can actually hear what it is capable of...and I like. Also Alcyon, he mentions in the the exact video you posted that the dry switch is infact a blended signal of dry and wet. Norm is just distortion and bass boost...
