    Warwick Corvette repair/finish questions

Probably the easiest option as well. I have an older Corvette 4 string that still has the barrel jack and it hasn't had any problems, so I guess I didn't consider the fact that this might be an upgrade, even if it looks janky. Thanks for the input!

    Warwick Corvette repair/finish questions

I have a 2003 Warwick Corvette 5 (Made in Germany), Bubinga body, bought used off Craigslist back in like 2010. I've been having some problems with the jack and got to looking at it and realized that a previous owner replaced the standard jack socket with a open jack mounted onto a plate and...

I've never owned an instrument over $250

My two cents... Some aspects of "you get what you pay for" are correct. If you want the look of a high end bass, with the fretboard inlays, fancy finishes, exotic woods, etc., you will usually have to pay extra for that stuff. However, as it has been noted, high price doesn't always equal...

    The Rickenbacker Club! Part trees!

I guess that's true. Thanks, the picture was from a show at Rocketown in Nashville. Pretty sweet smaller venue. When I get some decent pictures of the bass up I'll get a number off you :D

    The Rickenbacker Club! Part trees!

I know the date stamp proves this is an old picture, but it's the best one I have right now. The bass is apart getting some love. No one wants to see Ric guts strewn about.
