Thanks Duster. I bought the bass used for the mint burgundy wine body (my favorite color) and the rare neck was a bonus. Shame that I'm a jazz neck guy. I don't have any idea if was a special run or not.

I know what you mean. I got hooked on the SRX series. I have a 400, 500, and a 690ex. All very nice basses but I'm over it and back to a passive p bass now which I shall remain. I am still impressed with the Ibanez quality, tone, and playability.

This one started its existence as a "Bud Light True Music" logo body. Had it done in a rarely seen ( on a fender P ) Silverburst with added band logo. When the band goes sour, as all eventually do, it will become a piece of art that I'll keep forever. Built it mostly just for grins anyway. [ATTACH]
