What does your bass say about you?

My Blake P-bass clone says "I got this bass for $100 in 1998 from a kid who didn't know anything about it."

My Charvel says "The Blake wasn't pointy enough, and didn't have enough pickups."

My Ibanez SR says "I can't buy a shapely, sleek, sexy woman (at least, not on my budget!)-- so I bought a shapely, sleek, sexy bass guitar instead."

I have no idea what mine say. Squier matt freeman, American special p bass, peavey millennium ac bxp, and samick corsair. Probably that I'm cheap and try to get good bang per buck ratio on my purchases.

Mine sucked, but this thread is ****ing awesome. Lol.

What does Fretless bass say about me?

- I couldn't colour in between the lines properly, so I got rid of them completely.
- I like to make things harder than they need to be.
- Near enough is good enough.
- I got sick of the guitarist asking me 'can I have a go of your bass, man?'.
- "Jaco was a genius".
- "it sounds just like a double bass, only better". :P

(Two of these are true.... but I'm not saying which ones ;) )

My black and maple Frankenstein p-bass says: " Please kill me, my truss rod hasn't worked in 2 years...."

My cort's say: " Wow, he must really like us, he has three of us! Ermmm, which one of us is number one?"

My Hamer says: " I'm just the guinea pig for some sicko's weird mods..."

And the basses I'm building say: " He was supposed to finish us like, 2 years ago. I'm getting tired of waiting on his lazy ass..."

That seems about right. At least I don't have to listen to my electric guitars, they could talk your ears off with their high-pitched whining and don't even get me started on my acoustic, so much terrible feedback from that guy!
