So i came home today and the static has turned into a constant buzz. When im plugged directly into the amp, if i roll off the volume, the buzz goes away. If the volume is up, and i touch my pickup cover, the buzz gets very loud, but when i place my other hand on the fretboard, it goes away. I...

It's a Markbass 800 head, and yes it's grounded. 87% Humidity at the moment.

I live in Dallas Texas and it's normally dry. It's been rainy and cold lately so we've had the heat on a lot.

Thanks, i agree. I was a little hesitant at first as i'd read some comments about the tube 800 and how the EQ and Solid State/Tube dial don't really change the sound that much. To my ears, the changes are definitely noticeable.

Agreed, i'd like to avoid opening that can of worms on this thread though. It always seems to start a civil war. I like it, I'm stickin with it, and she ain't exactly hard on the eyes either drool
