I don't have a particular preference to Ibanez, and while it does look good, it doesnt seem like a big enough improvement over the sr505 to warrent buying. Anymore suggestions?

I've been playing for a couple of years now, and have just bought an Orange AD200B head and an Orange 4X10 cab to complement it. My currently bass is the Ibanez SR505, and while it's a very competent bass, has a good tone and is really light, I feel I can get more out of my amp with a higher end...
