Thinking about buying a new 5 string

I've been playing for a couple of years now, and have just bought an Orange AD200B head and an Orange 4X10 cab to complement it. My currently bass is the Ibanez SR505, and while it's a very competent bass, has a good tone and is really light, I feel I can get more out of my amp with a higher end 5 string. I'm currently playing in a thrash metal band, and also an art rock band (ala Dredg) and was wondering what would get the best sound for both bands.

Much thanks in advance.

P.S. Budget not an issue

Agree on the Warwick, but for a Corvette consider the bubinga body as well. INO and IME bubinga is more focused and forward on the mids than the ash with a tighter bottom, while staying just as versatile (you can always dial in some bottom at the amp or at the bass). My primary actualy used to be an SR505 until I got my Corvette... after that, the Ibanez just didn't do it anymore :)
