    Double Bass Shortened endpin

    I to am thinking about cutting of some excessive endpin length as I only use maybe 3 inches of the 18 or so length it is. Seems that it wants to vibrate at times and have to stop and sometimes move and retighten. Very annoying and I don't know why there so long anyway!

    I have another question and I appreciate your info. Question: Seems I'm having a little trouble hearing the amp sitting on the floor and me standing. Will it hurt or help overall sound to raise the amp up off the floor say maybe a foot or two? Thanks

    Hello, I'm a newbie to the site and have just acquired a new Rumble 500 combo. My question is I've read the manual but still can't make heads or tails of the gain control in relation to the master volume control. Would someone be kind enough to shed some light on this subject. Thank you.
