That's the thing idk all the technical crap, I just know what sounds good (which is why I said "something like Blackouts") I didn't realize they had Blackout bass pickups. Im just gonna get those.

Im digging this JS3 down at my local guitar store, it plays very nice and sounds good. The feel if it is great! Only thing I would possibly do is switch the pickups out for blackouts and file the nut to use 65-125 gauged strings.

When people say "activeness" they're usually talking about high gain outputting pickups! Its like when people refer to stretched ears as "gauges", its just a commonly used term people use when they're not technical about or know the actual terminology.

Im going to the music store today to check them out. I also wanna check out the Kelly Bird. I typically hate the Thunderbird style of bass but Jackson made it pleasing to look at. It just fits and looks super metal
