I'm thinking about picking up a Markbass Supersynth, but I was wondering if anybody uses it with a Stingray. I have noticed that "tracking" pedals don't work all that well with my 4 string Ray. I don't know if I have ridiculous expectations, but my EBS Octabass doesn't track very well with it...

Thanks for the replys guys, but I agree that youtube doesn't help me all that much with tone questions about pedals/amps , b/c the audio is so terrible. I guess that I'm just asking what's the cheapest sansamp pedal that will get close to my RBI.

I have what may be a stupid question, but I am looking at the Shuttle 9.0, and I wonder if it is ok to just use it as a DI for recording, and not running it into a cab. Right now we are just recording using headphones, but I figure that eventually I will be playing out.
