Just bought a Genz Benz 9.0 - Need Cab Suggestions

As the title says, I have a Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 on the way, and I'm trying to put together a cab plan. At this point, I have no cabs at all, so I think I have a great opportunity to build a "perfect" rig. Right now, I am mostly recording, and doing so through a sansamp RBI and headphones. We are not playing out as of now, but I feel like its inevitable. I plan on recording through the Shuttle 9.0 for now: Has anybody used it without having it hooked up to a cab? Anyways, I don't have a need to shake a bar, so I was thinking I should get a 2x10 for now, and add a 1x15 in the future. I have a budget of b/t $350 and $400 for a used cab. Any input?
Edit: Forgot to mention that I play a 4 string MIM P-Bass with '62 reissue pickup.

I like mine with my Bergantino AE212, but it sounds great with an AE210, too.

8 ohm settings seem more firm at the bottom. the larger the diameter the slower the response. 4 10s that slightly exceed the wattage of the amp are what I like. But then the frequency band of the Bass determines weather I use one cab or another.

After buying my Shuttle 6.0, I had the same budget that you do (350-400) for a cab. I quickly found out that the cabinets that I really wanted fell outside that range - even used ones. I ended up with a used GK Neo 2x10. I'm still getting to know it, but I've been very pleased, even surprisingly pleased, so far.

2x12s don't work for my ears, but everyone has their own sonic tastes.

This is actually an excellent pairing that sounds great. A number of players use the NeoX 212 or Berg AE212 with the Shuttle 9.0 There is no reason you can't use a 900 watt amp with a 600 watt cab as long as you use your ears and the gain properly. The extra wattage gives you good clean headroom which keeps the low end solid. A clean, unclipped signal sounds better and is less likely to blow the drivers. It's also affected by how you adjust your EQ. If the speaker looks like it wants to jump out of its frame back off on the bass and/or volume. I've run my Streamliner 900 into my 600 watt Uber 212 and it's no problem. On the other hand, if someone just dimes everything and whacks the strings... ya just can't fix stupid.

Yes, it can handle it if not pushed. But why would he get the 9.0 instead of the 6.0 if he didn't plan to push it into that range?

And the bigger issue, 4 ohms is the lowest the Shuttle will go, meaning he can never add a second cab. Which may be fine for the OP, but again, his choice of the 9.0 leads me to believe that he's in high volume situations and will likely want to add a second cab in the future.
