Have you tried a different cable? If you have a low quality cable end it may fail and show all of those signal loss and buzzing problems.

Anyone know what type of screw I would have to buy to replace a couple of the bridge screws that attach it to the body? Long story short I picked up the wrong screw driver that was too small and cranked it.

Damn I can get a nasty raw sounding bright grind even with my dead ass flat wounds on this bass, and I can make it disgusting (good) sounding with the high mids sweep. This is a great bass for someone who only changes their strings once they are beaten and performing like crap.

I find that the pickup sweetspot on my bass is farther away than I would normally think to put the height, but it increases the clarity and thump drastically compared to the pickups being just a tad bit higher. Don't forget to correct the pickup angle when making height adjustments.

Yeah, the Cobalt flats are my favorite string. They have a nice smooth feel, and great highs and grindy mids that sound like DR Hi Beam rounds with a Bright flatwound bottom end. After a while the top end fades and you are left with nice barking lows/mids that sound like TI flats. For some...

My Hipshot 3 string tree arrived today. It is way better than the old button tree. Screwed on right over the old screw hole.

The M7 looks great with those H/S pickups!

This seems like the easiest and cheapest option, the three string tree is also really stylish. Will report back in a few days when it arrives.
