I have seen one guitar from him in person in a local shop (Switzerland, rich people around...), but not allowed to touch or try...but it is a work of art more than a music tool to me. But man, those are neat.

I totally agree with that homey feeling, tough I really dig my Gibi neck, really round (but not too fat) but as it is kind of what you expect from a SG bass, it is ok. But I grew up as a musician having either a Squier or Fender neck in hand so they feel so natural now.
