Not sure what exactly the fix was or if it was combination of things but it sounds much, much better now. Thanks everyone for your input and suggestions. It was driving me crazy every time you would hit a D with the rattle. Now I can get back to learning how to play. Happy New Years everyone!

Wellll…too late now. The cab was glued together so I was really looking to just seal it better. If it still rattles after this I was going to try to brace it with some sort of L brackets.

So I ended up sealing the cab seams with some RVT as the glueing was inconsistent with gaps and holes. I also put a rubber grommet on the speaker wires where is comes through the cab. I took out the extra insulation I had previously put in and placed a single piece at the top of the cab where...

I also checked the dust cap as Brassed On suggested and it seems intact. Also looks for any moisture packs inside and nothing in there.

Sorry but it’s been a busy work week and I am finally getting back on this. You guys are correct that the speaker wasn’t glued in as a I thought just the gasket sticking to the cab. I carefully got it off. Here is a pick of the inside.

Let me pull the front grate and look again.

The speaker is glued in…it there another way to access the inside cab on these Hartke amps.

Thanks for additional ideas. -Logo is secure -All chassis screws are tight -Turned it on its side…no help Sat on it in its normal upright position and eliminated noise. What does this mean?

Update on some testing… Played it outside and the rattle is consistent so it’s nothing in the house. Also “stabilized the handle with a towel without any improvement. Any other suggestions? I will note that the white baffling material inside is not consistently laid out across the walls...
