First, I would suggest you play for your teacher, or find a teacher to play for, because since the people on TB can't see exactly what you're doing wrong, you might not get the most accurate advice. It could be that you are doing something with your left hand, holding the bass wrong, or many...

I'd suggest a Marcello sonata or Eccles sonata. If you're looking for excerpts you could try Othello, it's not too hard to put together. But do you have anything you are learning right now? If you already have repetoire you could play, then preparing new repetoire might not be the best choice...

For the 15-18 division it's the Carmen Fantasy by Proto, I'm not sure what's required for other divisions though.

I'm pretty sure they are going to do a more classical work to accompany the Tan Dun symphony... It was mentioned in one the the videos I saw, but I don't know which one, so I can't say for sure.
