That sounds killer man! I love metal as well and it definitely cuts, Im am also a huge RHCP and Primus fan as well and like slap as well, how did that sound on your setup?

Im guessing the change was comparable to the sound of a GTBD7?

But can you upgrade the GT7? The guy on reverb is asking WAY too much for a fair conditioned bass

Came across one today but with some wear and scratches...he wants 1400.00 I think that is too much am I right? I told him Im selling My IbanezBTB7E for 800.00 for comparison. Theres a GT7 I can buy for 800.00 am I better to just upgrade the hardware on the bass?
