Came across one today but with some wear and scratches...he wants 1400.00 I think that is too much am I right? I told him Im selling My IbanezBTB7E for 800.00 for comparison. Theres a GT7 I can buy for 800.00 am I better to just upgrade the hardware on the bass?

I think that's high. I think my new one was less than that or around that 12 years ago. I would say $900-$1k is reasonable.
