Music Man StingRay Club | PART FIVE

A great feature! I sometimes use the piezo blend to 50%, it adds a "raw/d.i." sound to the mix, particularly nice with slides. On a few songs, I use almost 80-100% piezo for an "acoustic" taste. It's nice to have that tuneability during a set, although I use most of the time the magnetic pickup...

Music Man StingRay Club | PART FIVE

Hi everyone, my beauty is turning 18 soon (Nov), so I share here a few pics. I've been in love since first sight, I remember spending quite some time on choosing the options I liked the most, before ordering. Waiting was the worst, and also the pasta I ate for a few months before to save...

    Musicman Stingray HH or H

How about a single H with piezo bridge? I guess they no longer make them, but I enjoy so much blending a bit or more piezo in my Ray. And as said, one H is already "the" sound, but I understand the look for more options.

Show me your compact pedalboard setup

That LS-2 was a discovery for me: with the Russian big muff, it goes so well. Otherwise, I use the two effects from TC bh250 head (comp, chorus or octaver, with the DigiTech footswitch).90% is only comp (or not) and basically board bypassed. I am trying to bring a bit of zoom's effects in the...

    Octave pedal?

You might also try octaver in parallel with some dirt pedal, and play with levels to mix the dirt, dry and octave(s) sounds. Pretty fat and rock sound. You could bring just a bit of octave, keep dry for low end and punch, and add the fuzz or OD.

    Zoom B1 Four users :

Thanks, I'm also using a USB power supply or power bank but I am trying to integrate the zoom in my pedalboard with my cheap 9v power supply. I tried for a bit and it got pretty hot but the zoom worked ok. See picture. Zoom is bypassed most of the time (except headphone practice), currently...

Hi everyone! That punchy bass sound...

Hi everyone, I have been reading TB from quite some time but just registered now. I am Nick from France, playing bass since mid 90's. I started with guitar (self taught) then added various instruments (bass, cello, trombone). Teenager years with Nirvana then RATM and RHCP, made me grab a guitar...

    Zoom B1 Four users :

Hi, anyone knows the max current drawn by the b1 four from the 9V input? I have a 5 isolated output power supply which is limited to 120mA per output whereas the zoom manual says 500mA... I am running a Y cable (240mA max). Otherwise, nice piece of effect to practice with. I am working on...
