I read in some other thread (i.e. Gretsch G2220) that the larger saddles of the Gotoh 201 can't be set as low as the stock ones and the only remedial is shimming the neck. Does it also happen with the Mini P?

Yes, and also consider that I'm not a trained player (far from it) and I'm probably more attracted to the (apparent) friendliness of the smaller Mini neck. I already can see me, somewhere down the road, regretting sending the Bronco back :laugh:
