Help me figure out my XB Driver?

I've owned this pedal for about a year now. Gig with it regularly and like multiple sounds I've gotten out of it between my industrial band and my doom/stoner band. With that said theres one thing that always seems to boggle my mind with some of the presets in the manual. For example, on the...

Coming from someone who's owned a 210, 115 x2, and a 215, I'll take the double cab stacking over lugging around the 215 any day. Walking up and down stairs with that was a nightmare. Weight wasn't the issue, just the awkwardness of the distribution of the light weight. Not to mention knees...

I don't know for a fact, but in the manual for the XB Driver the Dug sample settings has the HPF at roughly 250Hz and the LPF at roughly 800Hz. I know these are two different pedals but considering it's the Dug tone in reference I'm sure they are fairly close to the same...

    New Tech 21 XB Driver

Settings I used at a gig a few weeks ago. Playing out tonight might roll with the same. Using my Peavey T-20 with some pretty fresh strings with my tone dial about 50% with a pick. Mix on, bite engage, pre

Did you use any of the suggestions from the manual as a starting point or did you just wing it?

That's the power supply I had that went to crap. I ended up ordering a brand new Tech 21 replacement from Sweetwater.

My power supply finally took a crap on me. Has anyone replaced theirs's? I was lucky to get it to work Saturday night as any slight movement at the male end would kill the power. Sunday nights gig I used my Boss power supply but I don't want to continually us that as it's the power brick in line...

Mesa Subway 115 with 210 or other 115

Another thing to add. Carrying the 215 up and down stairs was a royal pain in the a$$. I’d much rather carry two separate 35lbs cabs separately than one 60lbs cab. I would hit my knees on it which stopped me from lifting my left walking up steps. Food for thought.

Mesa Subway 115 with 210 or other 115

I started out with a 210/115. Gigged with it for about a year and then seen a 215 pop up used at GC for way less than it should have been so snagged it. Gigged with it for about 8 months and honestly it bothered me the whole time. I was missing something. I'm sure I could have went down the tone...

Just ordered mine. Anyone use angle patch cable on the input? Does it interfere with the -10db pad button? It's hard to tell by pics.

I just wish they had through the tuner on the thing. Seems to have had plenty of room and internally it wouldn't have taken much more space.

I'm in the same boat. It's definitely in my wishlish. When funds are right, I'm snaggin one up.

Anyone had any luck dialing in a Jimmy Bain (holy diver album) type of tone? I’m really trying to nail this but having trouble finding that right setting

Since you already have a 115 I'd recommend just getting another. Or if you wanted a different cab that works too. I sold my 210 that I paired with my 115 which was a great stack. I replaced it with a 215 which is spectacular. My only regret in the choice is I almost wish I had just got another...
