    P Pickup For Tight Lows

Thank you all for the suggestions. For the time being, lowering the pickup has helped the tone massively, and has made it more then bearable for the time being! They are lower then I would ever set them, so this has been very helpful.

    P Pickup For Tight Lows

Hi all, I have a lovely Tokai P Bass, but Ihave found it to be a little too fat in the bass and muddy in the highs for a couple of the gigs I have at the moment, and almost too woody sounding, regardless of the strings I have tried. It currently has a Tokai 'handwound vintage voiced' pickup...

    Zoom Owners' Club!

One of these arrived this week. I've had a little time to play around with it, having not owned any multi-fx for many, many years, and it makes some impressive sounds.

    Zoom MS-60B+ (a compact B2-Four?)

How are people finding these, now that they've had a little more time with them? Particularly interested in whether the octave down and envelope filters are any good? I know someone above described them as passable. Cheers

Help with trim flush bits for plunge router.

Hi all, Forgive me if this is a silly question- I am new to routers. I have gifted a Bosch 1/4 inch 1,200w plunge router. One of the things I'd like to use it for is to rout cavities using templates, mainly for amatuer guitar building. I have been told to use flush trim bits for this...

    Line 6 Bass Pod Express

Yep, looking forward to the MS 60+ too. I just really hope they fix whatever it was that made some of them emit that high-pitched squeal.

    Line 6 Bass Pod Express

This is exactly how I feel! Love the older bass octaver sound, the one based on the EBS, and would have been nice to have their darkglass distortion model, and maybe a more synthy fuzz, but I completely get that that's just me. Also, I absolutely love stacking Octavers through Filters, and...

Sonicake Octaver… decent cheap OC-2 clone???

That's some decent testing! Which of those did you prefer? What were the other effects on the Boom Ave like?

Sonicake Octaver… decent cheap OC-2 clone???

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I've bought one of these recently to replace a broken octave. Here's my two penny's worth, in case anyone is looking for a cheap octave pedal. I can't believe how good it is for the price. Even without the budget factor, it is a great sounding octaver. It...

    Zoom MS-60B patch ideas!!!!!

Hi all - apologies if this is the wrong place to post this. I am thinking of getting a Multistomp to use as a stand alone pedal for a functions band. It’s an ampless set up, so I'd would be going straight from bass, to MS60b, to an active d.i and IEMs. It would mainly be for the tuner...

    Help with pickup selector switch

This is great information, thank you so much. I appreciate taking the time to draw a diagram. I have tested the pickup combination in their current spacing with a simple jazz style vvt setup, and they sound great together (with the MM in single coil mode). No idea if it's close to 50/50 or not...

    Help with pickup selector switch

That's great, thanks! I'd never have thought of wiring the p straight to the hot. I appreciate it.

    Help with pickup selector switch

Hi all. I have been working on a bass with a P pickup in the neck, and a MM in the bridge. At the moment they are wired volume - volume - tone, with the MM wired in parallel. I'd like to install 1 volume, 1 tone and a pickup selector switch. I have done this with a pj before. My question is...
