some new thought... since I put the Zyex they become better in about a month of use... now sound much better than before, I even kinda like it (with the other unknown E string!) I'm wainting a set of Velvets to come but in the meantime I'm pretty happy with the Zyexs... I think for my bass this...

Finally I put a set of second hand medium Zyex strings, (because they're cheap) meanwhile I try to get some Velvet animas or blues (very expensive). The tone is pretty nice, I think I like it better than Spiros but they haven't much volume and the E string is absolute dead.... I had to put some...

Great info!!!! so zyex lights still are heavier than animas, I just got a set of second hand zyex, I'll give it a try mostly becose of the money but in the future I think my right choice we'll be Animas (or Blue) Velvets. Thank a lot guys!!!!!!!!

Jonny! animas vs zyex tension wise, tell me about it please! I like animas a lot but I want a string like that but more boweable, I'm play pizz all the time but I'm trying to improve my bowing.... Excuse my english!

Thanks Fred! and for Pizz? 180's are similar than the animas? I really like animas I´m also not very much a bow man... I play jazz but I don't like a string that not work for every thing that I wanna experiment... actualy for me are no so bad with the bow though.... I'm the one is bad.... hehe...
