Thank you for the help. So the red wire soldered to the purple wire is correct? I thought that one was odd.. No power going to it until I'm certain it's wired right. Don't want to smoke to get out... Too hard to get it back in again.

Took it to a local shop and they connected some wires but it still doesn't work. He couldn't find a wiring diagram. There's a brown wire that's not connected. There's also a black wire connected to a blue wire. I'm color blind so that might not be blue.

I have a 5 string De Armond Pilot V serial Number KC9072549 that had the battery connection wires, jack and pickups removed and I'm having trouble finding where these connect back. Does anyone have pictures they would share showing these connections or a wiring diagram? Also, is this Fender era...
