In a math rock 3 piece, to stand out lot of my lines are either A: Way simpler than the guitarist (im also the singer so i have to keep it simple) and B: use a lot of chords whats a good dist or fuzz for lower bass chords that keep them open and loud sounding, a lot of stuff i try are too compressed
