    @Jaycephas Thanks for your help. I use in ear, signal gets through a DI, not quite new strings (my bad), fresh battery. I have a sansamp driver but haven't use it a lot.

    Hello, I play in a worship band and I'm having trouble to achieve a nice tone. When preamp eq is set flat, the sound isn't deep enough and when I boost the bass the sound gets muddy and lacks definition. Any suggestions? I need help, please.

    I've got a modified SR5. It has a Seymour Duncan Alnico pickups and an Audere 18v 4-band EQ. I also have the original components. Should I return the bass to its original state or keep the upgraded parts?
