Normally I'd agree. And I won't do anything that precludes me upgrading the speakers later. But the cab only cost me $50 so far and I don't have a huge amount to sink into it at this point. This is hugely helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to go through this.

Thanks all for the thoughts. Now I'm thinking that maybe I should jettison one of my other cabs instead and keep both of them. They don't eat anything (except space). And I guess I need to spend some serious play time with both of them before I make any decisions.

Interesting. I don't own one (yet) The T-20 always seemed to me to be the kind of middle space between the T-series and the Fury series, but that might just be because of the super ferrite pickup. What would you say makes them play/sound so different?

Just picked up a Squier VM Jag bass as part of a trade deal and was shocked at how light it was compared to my 2000's Fender Mexican P. Also plays very nicely.
