Thanks! Fingerboard is rosewood (no inlays). Maple may have looked better now I think of it but it was just there in the shop and I really liked it so went for it. Very happy with the pick-ups which I believe are now an extra option only. Will give the amps a go and let you know how I get...

Bought a Fender deluxe precision which by the time I got it home had dodgy pots so it went straight back (refused to let them fix it). A week later I tried my Sandberg out and it was soooo my much better. Great neck and oooozes tone from the Delano pick-ups. Couple of questions for you...
