Yes... that kind of mint is just right for that Daphne blue (even more when the nitro starts to show wear or age ) American Vintage, you mean basses from 2012 series or before 2012 series? I will definitely do that pickguard change if I buy this AM II Pbass

That's a nice point as I always wondered why these changes take place in vintage reissues. Maybe the reason is Fender just makes this series after a very particular model (a nice Pbass with a 1.70 nut width they considered they need to reissue for whatever reason) They just don't tell it is...

I must say one of the best looks of a Jazz Bass is that of 65 & 66 with dots and binding. The 66 Jazz with blocks and binding too and those neck were so easy to play
