    I didn't see that I put 8awg ( I wanted to put 18awg or more up to 12 awg 18 will work) It would have been nice to ask the person why 8 awg ? I would have seen my Typo a mistake. Many people makes mistakes. I will just lurk from now on, sorry for my Typo.

    Cut it to12 inch from tip to tip this will work for you. Do not use input cables, this is power output for the speaker. I WOULD USE 8 AWG OR MORE BUT THAT'S ME.

    Most modern amps are very good,but you can play a 100 of the same model of bass to find one that feel good and have that mojo sound to you. Now some of the older amps have a mojo sound.

    P pickups will work for one or two string bass or you can do a 18 string bass.Two strings look cool.

    Thinking about the SWR Henry 8x8 - What do you think ?

    I love to get my BASS on a SWR Henry the 8, that cab will cut any mix but you must like the sound of the cab. I would play the beast and if it is your sound buy it.

    Most relic basses are well made and setup etc this give them that mojo sound. If one take the time, you can make a nice bass into a mojo bass. It would be hard to pass up that Sandberg VM5.

    Equipment setup and breakdown etiquette

    As a band every one should help with loading and unloading.BUT NEVER leave anyone alone to load or unload. It is not safe at night or even day. Band members need to keep an eye out for each other in the strange times we are in.
