I once smashed a pickup on my old p bass copy, I had a cheap crappy strap at the time and while I was playing it just came off and fell face down onto my rowing machine! On the plus side I learnt how to wire in a pick up!

I'm a bit of a Gibson fan myself, most of their basses look awesome LP,SG,EB0, the thunderbird. Just pure rock, lovely!
