Fairly newbie bass player (under 2 years) and recently purchased an used Hartke 3500 head with a Peavey 210XT cab for $550 CDN. Not sure if this is a good deal and had to get the Peavey serviced for wiring and replaced the fan on the 3500.

Newbie bass player needs some advice... recently upgraded and bought an used Hartke 3500 head and Peavey TX210 cab (2x10). When I tested the cab, it sounded ok with the Hartke. When I took both to the jam space and plugged everything in, the sound kept cutting out and I could hear a buzzy...

Just sold my Rumble 100. It was my second bass amp (have a Rumble 15 for at home practice & noodling). The bottom end just sounded really muddy and sloppy when jamming with two other guitarists and drummer. Looking to buy a proper head & cab.
