Thanks Andy It's a quality bass. Plays and sounds amazing and as you say, the NWG neck is fantastic. Some purists don't like the PJ format and that's their prerogative, but I think it's great - best of both worlds as far as I'm concerned.

A couple from the UK (please excuse the photo!). A virtually as new 2017 Stingray Classic which had lived in its case virtually all of its life until I bought it December '24, along with a week old PJ bitsa with a gorgeous neck, Gotoh tuners and a Fender Himass bridge. The sustain on this thing...

Used to jam with Rick Allen of Def Leppard way before he had his accident. The guy was awesome.

Joe Walsh - The Smoker You Drink The Player You Get and Rock of the Westies by Elton John. Kenny Passarelli plays a fretless P bass on both throughout. Great sound on Midnight Moodies on the former. His playing on the latter is a brilliant example of restraint and timing.

Not really a fan of bass solos, but George McArdle's (Little River Band) fretless solo on Light of Day from the Sleeper Catcher album is amazing.

Bought some Gotoh FB30s and after drilling new mounting screw holes they work perfectly. Backplates are large enough to cover existing mounting screw holes so no cosmetic issues.. Kept the original ferrules and everything works fine.

Hi This may sound bizarre, but I just bought a '95 P Bass with a rosewood board which was absolutely filthy. I managed to get 90% of the crap off with dilute Chemical Guys fabric cleaner (car care product). Sprayed it on, left for a couple of minutes only and wiped dry with a microfibre cloth...
