Replacement tuners for '95 MIM P Bass

Hi all
Just bought a mint '95 Sunburst/RW MIM P Bass from a friend who no longer plays. Replaced the bridge with Fender Hi Mass, new tort plate, cleaned it up and restrung it and it plays and sounds great, but I hate the tuners.
Thinking of either Schallers or Gotohs and not bothered if I have to drill some new holes because it's not exactly a pre-CBS vintage.
I know Hipshot HB-7 are a straight swap but I don't like the tapered post, so have any of you guys replaced your tuners, and if so, with what?

I put a set of MIA P tuners on a MIM neck. The tuners I used are the same you'd have seen on a mid to late 90's MIA P.

I'll post a pic later.

Bought some Gotoh FB30s and after drilling new mounting screw holes they work perfectly. Backplates are large enough to cover existing mounting screw holes so no cosmetic issues.. Kept the original ferrules and everything works fine.
