Speaking of our buddy Buddha, I did a quick sound recording of the Roto strings I just installed on the bird you helped name, the ThumbDerBird (named after the Warwick Thumb bass that inspired the build). All very useable, no typical jazz quack or honk to speak of. Sounds very much like my Thumb BO5. The higher strings are very articulate and full sounding as well. Should be a nice slap bass (someone else will have to demo that, it’s beyond my pay grade).
