    Passive pick up that does not have noise?

    My jazz bass has so much noise but I do not wanna change to active pick up because I don't wanna put 9v batteries on my jazz bass. What passive bass pick ups will be a great choice? Is there anyway to decrease the noise on my bass with small amount of money?
