I've heard the whole spectrum from improved to ruined. The original artist/engineer/producer team made it sound like they wanted - in most cases. There are some songs that sound best in their original mono release - even the stereo remixes from way back when don't have the energy of the mono...

Do you still have the Klira 162-1? I know a guy that's been looking for one.
