Making school work regarding the instrument's strings i came across a few questions.. Nylon Core strings such as Dominants fall into the synthetic string category... but what are "composite" strings? what is the composite made out of? and is rope core a pure steel core but with a braided core...

Piezo vs Humbuckers vs PJ .. Love the sound on all 3, can't seem to decide .. Also love the 2nd gen M7! Will fretless semi-hollow look weird outside a jazz group? Also the srh500 and srh505 look like the same bass .. what's the difference?
