I have extenders on all my 4 strings - 10 basses and run .045"-.105" on all of them. String tension is lowered slightly so go for a .110" or .107" and see how you get on... I don't use a compressor.

Ahh, yes very similar, although there is no heel block. That makes it roughly the right age for the 1982 Squier Bass it came with. It’s actually a much nicer case than the Fender ones and the bass doesn’t move around. Thank you Fab for the info!
