Hey all! Just curious... On my -83 US made precision, the thumb rest is above the strings ... yet I see so many photos of the "thumb rest" being positioned below the strings ... what is this all about? ;) Cheers Doc

Wow guys!! Thanks for all this info! I have some studying and listening to do!! The original p-ups are already out and replaced by the previous owner with Wilkinson p-ups. They give a good sound and I have to say that they are surprisingly good sounding for the price! But ... really would like...
