    I just got my Vertigo today for my new Spector bass, i didn't get the bass yet so i didn't use the bag yet. Has Mono solved this problem yet ?

    Bass is my main instrument, next to that i play piano, only one genre though wich is Boogie. i play a Baldwin piano.

    I just checked out a video on youtube, they do sound great indeed! I picked the EMG's though. By the way, do you happen to know if spector's always come standard with the Tonepump Pre amp ?

    Have a look at the Ibanez SR 600, i played on one of these, and they play/feel great!

    I went with the -Poplar Burl- color, i just love how growly Spector basses can sound, I still have a set of DR Hi's and a set of Black Beauties laying around, so i'll probably start those.

    I totally agree, i dont feel happy knowing my bass is shipping without a case even if it was, indeed, just for protection. but i always order my gear at my local music store, so if its damaged they will order a new one.

    Thanks,I usually use DR Hi's so i'll see how those sound. Ordered my first Spector 4lx euro 2 days ago but it could take up to 2 months before it arrives so..that's alot of time watching spector demo's on youtube haha.

    Thanks, i always wanted a Spector so i'm verry happy! Although, the music store that ordered it for me told me it could take up to 2-3 month's at maximum, but it's going to be worth every minute waiting.

    I also have a TH500, great amps aren't they ?:cool: I do have to say that the Vertigo comes with the extra storage thingy, the Tick-Ready. So i figured i'd be fine.

    Thanks for all the replies, i ordered a MONO Vertigo case, so problem solved :) Still disappointing that you do not get a case with a €1900 bass. When you received your Spector bass, how was the packing?

    Well i guess both the Mono M80 and Vertigo are really decent bags, it's just that the rubber bottom protection convinced me to take the Vertigo.
