the neck on a ric is quite different to a fender. they might be slightly wider but i think they taper less as they meet the body. also they seem (to me anyway) to be shallower, so stumpy finger syndrome is ok. i have smallish hands and have had no problems playing a ric.:)

i played my friends six string sei fretless the other week. i want one so much i put my family on ebay .

most jazz basses should be great for slapping. do you actualy hit the fretboard with your thumb? i saw someone at a gig the other week trying to slap a j bass just over the neck pickup... not a good move klunk klunk klunk.

for sale in the uk. mansons in exeter. they want £1500 it says its a usa custom made one. i thought burners were asembled in japan and then quality checked in the us.

hi, i've just finnished a warmouth j bass project and i'm realy pleased with it over all. hardly any problems that were beyond my very limited capability so just take it steady .the warmouth neck plays well and i easily managed to get a good action but it is massive!!! realy thick. not realy...

:help: I have just bought a glockenklang 2 band pre amp for my warmouth j bass. but the jack socket that came in the box isnt of much use to me as i've gone for the side socket option. Do i need a stereo socket for the battery - conection? can anybody help with a photo of the cricuit wired...
