Could you say more about your gear. What 2x10 cabinet do you have? If you use the V7 with B15 circuit turned on with grit at minimum and level at maximum - how close does it sound to your pf50t? Thanks for your advice.

There is also a possibility that one of the 10” drivers is wired up out of phase from the factory. I experienced this recently with some speakers. Try flipping the polarity on one of the drivers to see if the cab gets louder.

Going for the B15 vibe using a 2x8 instead of a 15” might seem a little odd to some people. I’ve had a 15” Fender cab in the past but I wasn’t really happy with it for home use, everything in the room resonated. I’m not sure if all 15” cabs are like this though. I’ll check out the barefaced...

Are you sure there is definitely sound coming out of both 10” drivers? Remove speaker grille and check both 10” drivers are working when playing bass.

Since the PF112 is no longer available, I would be interested to know what you might suggest. The portaflex 210 and 115 are still available but would you choose something different?

Some guy used his PF-20T as a preamp to a drive a solid state power amp for gigging and got great results. The Line Out after the transformer sounds really good.

The VB212 has some nice specs.

Looks like Ampeg aren’t making the portaflex 112 cab anymore. I will look at the other 12” cabs from Ampeg.

I will try and find some demo videos. My recollection was that it seemed to be more for people that wanted an overdriven distortion tube sound. I will look into it again. Thanks
