That’s my concern - that it will fail again. I would go over everything including the speaker cable. I'm not overly worried, it'll sit by desk for the forseable future and I've got the Aguilar head and a pair of AG 2x10s for everything else.

Well, I removed the speaker, tested with a multimeter, removed some ancient cobwebs from the inside of the cab and tested with the amp head again. Auto-magically works. I can only conclude that something was causing a short/ground ::shrugs:: Thanks @agedhorse [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
