The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Just logged in for the first time in about 10 years so better post the current lineup! Still have the same ESP LTD D6 girlfriend bought for 3rd anniversary (now fiance and on 15 now), a new to me Sterling 34H, and a silly IYV headless multiscale that cost 200 shipped to me. Now to convince...

    Bongo 6 HH Stealth

As much as it pains me to do so, I'm putting my Bongo 6 HH Stealth up for sale. I bought this bass from here in January from this sale thread. Everything FJR Rider said about the bass still holds true, its condition is the closest to perfect as a used instrument can be. I have played it...

I have not ever had the idea that a 5+ string was the only way to play, though I began on a 6 string. It was more about having the option to move higher or lower than normal in the same hand position combined with the size of extended range bass necks fitting my hands well. I just went to...

    Music Man Bongo 5H

Hopefully by the end of the day I can borrow a camera that works. I'll try to get some with natural light too. The bass is graphite gray so hopefully I can get a picture that shows it better!

First bass -- Ibanez, Squier, Cort or ESP

I think any of them would suit you well, it's all in what what sounds and feels best for you. I was borrowing a fender jazz but didn't like the feel so I went around trying all the basses at local stores, gc, and best buy's shops till I found an ESP ltd that felt and sounded better and fit price.
