The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Sadowsky Metroline Modern 5 Singlecut-
I fell in love with this very easily and didn t regret anything. It cured me from a 2 year period of buying and selling basses (call it GAS )

That's a nice assortment. I really like the Aerodyne "reverse tuxedo" look. I had one of the old Aerodyne P's and it was a really cool bass. Want to check one of these out sometime.
This one is much better than the old Aerodyne Precisions and that is saying something. I regretted selling the old one. The neck on this one suits me better. It is also punchier and a bit more aggressive. I love that! Definitely try one.

Well, it's not playable.
Totally hand made.
It means a lot to me.
My retirement gift from my coworkers...

Thread post #20,000! :)

The 2011 Fender 50's P Road Worn is the newest-to-me (thanks @ScottfromCalgary)! According to my accurately kept TalkBass profile, that was bass purchase #55 for me since 2005, when I started playing. I can honestly say this is the happiest I've been with my stable. The one I've owned the longest is the red/black pickguard P and that's my #1 - but I've only owned that for 2-3 years. What the P's have in common is a less round/slightly thinner neck front to back. I love that profile, although the 50's P has a much wider fretboard. Top to bottom:
  • 2010 Fender American Special (CS'62 Pickup), DR Hibeams
  • 2011 Fender American Special (CS'62 Pickup), tuned Eb, DR Hibeams
  • 2011 Fender MIM 50's P Road Worn (Original '62 Pickup), DR Legends Flats
  • 1984 Peavey Foundation, DR Hibeams
  • 2021 Fender MIM Mustang P/J (CS'62 and Gen 4 Jazz Pickup)

Just logged in for the first time in about 10 years so better post the current lineup! Still have the same ESP LTD D6 girlfriend bought for 3rd anniversary (now fiance and on 15 now), a new to me Sterling 34H, and a silly IYV headless multiscale that cost 200 shipped to me. Now to convince fiance to let me look at an EHB MS or a dingwall some day!

Edit: Also a Schecter C1 Hellraiser guitar bought used for way to cheap at GC and I STILL cannot play anything on. Chords are hard...

The CT is a Christopher Small clone.

it has a walnut back and Cocobolo top. This bass is called Black heart. It has a Passive dual coil Ulyate pickup. Its 32” scale. Christopher is a gifted but virtually unknown builder whom I believe has retired.
The 8 banger is made by a very talented guy by the name of Endres. It has a one piece Maple body with a 30” scale hard V neck and a passive TV Jones Thunderblade. Fun bass !
