    Hi... I'm looking for a pickguard /scratchplate for my '89 P bass plus. I have a parchment one at the moment but want a tortoise shell. Anyone know where I can get one? It's only twelve hole instead of thirteen and it needs extra holes for selector switch and parallel button. :hmm:

    It is nearly the same as an sb 900 except for funny position markers..here are a couple more photies...click to enlarge. must be someone in the know out there.

    Hi Can anyone tell me exactly what model my bass is? I have always thought it was an sb 900 fom early 80's but because of the position markers i think it could be something else. serial is 4013280. Thanx
