Ever hate a song so much you'd risk being fired?

my band once played the theme from two and a half men for 10 minutes. while that my not sound like a long time, it was an eternity. we were playing a frat/sorority mixer thing. our BL took a request list from them ahead of time and arranged/confirmed the worst set list of all time including many...

Bassists who are lefties who play righty club.

I remember in KG I was told, "we all write with our right hands here." same thing when i started playing bass in elementary school. I have always done everything else lefty (I blame my lefty mother for that) and since then, however someone teaches me to do something, I use that hand for it.

    Your Axe

when i was a wee youngster i started out on a team bass, bought from a small music shop down the road for under $100. great for learning and i near tore that thing apart for about 5 or 6 years during which time i learned the bass and i were meant to be. went to GC, got a fender jazz like my here...

The one bad thing about a new bass...

like many have said, it's the combined mojo that makes the instrument unique. nothing better than used so long as the thing isn't in tatters when you get it. what kills me the most is the neglect my previous bass gets. sometimes i wish i had more than two hands.

    Your Axe

i go back and forth between MIM fender jazz and epi eb-3. neither break the bank and they both have a special place in my heart.
