For Sale Karl Hoyt Custom P/J Bass 2005 (?) LIGHTWEIGHT

It is. Thanks. I'm only selling because I have to thin the herd in a major way. At my peak, I had 32 basses and 6 guitars. And I really need to get that total down below 10. I've listed 15-20 for sale so far, and sold a bunch. Of all I've listed, this is the one I'll miss the most. I know...

SOLD Kramer Forum 1- Spector with a pointy headstock

Well someone just got a GREAT deal on a helluva underrated bass! Mine, which is NOT FOR SALE, is definitely a Forum II and a neckthru.

SOLD Kramer Forum 1- Spector with a pointy headstock

WHAT A BEAUTY! Is it actually a Forum II? I have one just like it in blue and it's great bass. These get no respect because of the pointy headstock and the shark's teeth inlays. Oh well. Someone should snap this one up quickly!

SOLD Kramer Forum III w EMG PJX pickups (PRICE DROP)

Cool bass! I have a US-made Forum II in blue that I love! Good luck with the sale!

For Sale Gibson SB-400 1973 PRICE DROP

Looks very cool! A Gibson SB300 (short scale) was my very first bass growing up. I sold it as a starving college student about 40 years ago. Wish I still had it. :(

SOLD Spector NS-2 DW - Bahama Blue

Blue's my favorite color. And that Bahama Blue quilt is not just any blue . . . [sigh]

SOLD Spector NS-2 DW - Bahama Blue

WOW! If I weren't under orders from the better half to sell off a minimum of 20 basses . . . :(

John Entwistle 1977 Alembic Series I "Baby Bass"

SOLD! A while back. To a U.S.-based collector who plans to open a memorabilia museum, so this bass may go on public display in the near future. The collector has set up his own 501(c)(3) non-profit. Taxpayer supported musical instrument collecting, I should have thought of that! ;) Details...

For Sale Karl Hoyt Custom P/J Bass 2005 (?) LIGHTWEIGHT

Offered for sale is this stunningly gorgeous one-of-a-kind Northern Ash P/J Bass custom made by noted boutique luthier Karl Hoyt. I have owned about 40 basses over the course my lifetime and this one is the lightest ever -- 7 lbs., 12.6 oz. I love this bass, which sounds and plays as good as...

John Entwistle 1977 Alembic Series I "Baby Bass"

Here's a supposed Entwistle bass that sold at auction in 2011 for $25,000, Invalid Link Removed. That bass is definitely cool, but I think my bass is even cooler in every possible way. If that bass sold for $25K in 2011, mine should easily sell at auction for $35K in 2019. Importantly, in the...

John Entwistle 1977 Alembic Series I "Baby Bass"

Including all costs and expenses, including VAT (I live in the U.S. and the auction was held in London), I paid over $8,000 for the bass in 2003. Merely adjusting for inflation would bring that total to about $12,000 today. The market for classic rock memorabilia has skyrocketed since 2003.
